Udders founder, Indra Nicholas, wanted to own and operate a business that people would love to visit. She loves ice cream and cows! Thus, the concept of Udders Ice Cream, was born. Her children were very excited about the opportunity to work in an ice cream shop, too. They are all “managers.”
Indra grew up near Kansas City, Missouri, where her first job in high school was scooping ice cream at Zarda’s, a mini-mart/gas station with an ice cream fountain that was owned by a local dairy. So, I guess you could say she’s come around full circle!
Indra started her career as a high school science teacher, then owned and operated a successful in-home care agency. After taking some time off to regroup, Indra began to think of a new venture. Ice Cream! She has combined her love of helping people with an industry that people love. Her dream is to give customers a fun and interesting experience each time they visit.
We hope to see you soon!
